Neel B. Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah received his Bachelors of Science and Medical Degree at Wayne State University. Highlights of his undergraduate career include the Henry Award which is given to only one male in each graduating class who demonstrates the most outstanding contributions to the University in the areas of academic excellence, student leadership and community service. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. His interests include lung cancers and lymphomas. He had a poster accepted at the American Society of Hematology conference in the field of lymphoma, and his current project involving metastatic lung cancer patients was accepted as a poster presentation in the American Society of Oncology conference. He has had numerous publications and plans to continue to perform research in the area of lung cancer.
